Many people will try to bite your head off when you ask about hypoallergenic dogs telling you they don't exist. It's true no dog is 100% free from dander and proteins in their saliva. Many people do find that breeds who dont shed their skin and hair as frequently as other dogs are better for them. Some dogs do it every 2-3 days others more like once every 20 days. Also shedding doesn't mean you will or won't be allergic.
Samoyeds and Chihuahas shed a ton but tend to have lower dander and don't bother people. You should also try to figure out if you are more allergic to proteins ni their saliva or their dander which you may think of as hair thoug techinically it's not.
It's kind of a case by case basis with the person and dog just being a good fit.
